Jonathan has over 15 years’ experience in adult learning, training and development. For over seven years, Jonathan worked with the Mission for Essential Drugs and Supplies (MEDS) as the Capacity Building Advisor. He was responsible for Training Needs Assessment and designing of effective training programmes for both local and international organisations. Before joining MEDS, he had worked with LVCT Health as the Training Coordinator responsible for designing and implementing both certificate and Diploma Courses.
Jonathan is pursuing a Doctorate degree in Leadership and Management at the Management University of Africa (MUA). He holds a Master of Arts degree in Project Planning and Management from the University of Nairobi and a B.Sc. in Chemistry and Biochemistry from Kenyatta University.
Jonathan has in the past undertaken successful consultancies in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, South Sudan and Somalia. Notable clients include the National Malaria Control Programme – GOK, National Tuberculosis, Leprosy & Lung Disease Program (NTLD-P) – GOK and WHO – Somalia, Sudan Council of Churches, UNICEF, CDC – Kenya Office and Lutheran World Federation of Kenya.
Steven Kimetu is a population Scientist (Demographer) with a background in Social/Cultural Anthropology. He has over 10 years’ experience in designing and executing qualitative and quantitative studies, data management and analysis, report writing, among others.
He holds a Master of Arts degree in Population Studies and a Bachelors Degree in Anthropology, both from the University of Nairobi.He is currently pursuing Ph.D. studies at the same University’s Population Studies and Research Institute (PSRI).
Steven has previously worked as a monitoring and evaluation expert with Mercy Corps and Winrock International; Social health researcher with LVCT Health etc. He has consulted widely in data management, analysis, report writing and monitoring and evaluation trainings. His expertise and interests are in social and health program design and interventions, monitoring and evaluation, population dynamics, training and data analysis and management.
Dr. Albert is currently pursuing Doctor of Philosophy in Epidemiology at Jomo Kenyatta University of Science and Technology (JKUAT), Institute of Tropical Medicine and Infectious Diseases (ITROMID) (Nairobi, Kenya). He holds a Master of Pharmacy in Pharmacoepidemiology and Pharmacovigilance and a Bachelor of Pharmacy from the University of nairobi.
Albert has previously worked with Ministry of Health as the Deputy Chief Pharmacist, National Tuberculosis, Leprosy and Lung Diseases Programme as a Pharmacoepidemiologist and Pharmacovigilance Expert. He has also worked as the Provincial Pharmacist, Eastern province and is a renowed expert consulted on various areas including training and quantification of Health Commodities for the County Health Management Teams and other development partners.
He is a part-time trainer with the UoN with two publications on Antimicrobial Activity of Tylosema fassoglensis Root Tuber, dissertation for partial fulfilment of award of degree of Bachelor of Pharmacy, University of Nairobi and Medication-related Risk Factors for Preterm Birth in Kitui County, Kenya. Albert is a Member of the Pharmaceutical Society of Kenya.
Peter M. Milo is currently working with Intra Health International (USAID funded Human Resources for Health [HRH] Kenya Mechanism). He is responsible for Leading and managing interventions that increase the number of graduating health workers in Kenya under the Afya Elimu Fund (AEF) product. At Intra Health International, he has served at different capacities, namely; Deputy Chief of Party/Capacity Building, Assistant Director –capacity building, Acting Deputy Chief of Party/ Technical training director, Assistant Director , regional training strategy, and he has also worked with other organizations.
He holds a PHD in Governance &Leadership from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture & Technology (JKUAT), MBA from the University of Nairobi and a Bachelor of Science from Egerton University. He also holds a post graduate diploma in Education (PGDE) and a diploma in Human Resource Management.
He has over 10 years’ experience in USAID funded projects including, The Intra Health International, USAID funded FUNZO Kenya project and USAID funded Human Resources for Health [HRH] Kenya Mechanism. He has consulted widely in Reproductive health commodity management project- building capacity of supply Chain Managers from North Rift Region via eLearning, Integrating the PEPFAR technical considerations into health services to Improve the clinical management of children and adolescents who have experienced sexual violence In Kenya and Human Resources for Health (HRH) Kenya Program (USAID funded, 2016-2021) which aims to strengthen health workforce management to achieve improved health outcomes in 27 high disease-burden focus counties in Kenya.
He has made publications and participated in several international conferences
Julius is a fitness enthusiast. He is a strong believer of a strong correlation between general body fitness, happiness and work productivity. Teams that have been trained by Julius highlight his drive for excellence. Julius holds a Diploma in Sports administration and management. He will soon be graduating with a Degree in sports science from Kenyatta University.
Leonard is an organisational effectiveness coach with over 13 years of experience in training. He has excellent experiential facilitation skills. Those who have attended his sessions describe him as passionate and energetic. Leonard has an easygoing personality that enables him to bond well with the participants. Leonard holds a Masters degree in Public Health (International Health) from the University of Liverpool, UK.
